And we started today with "... baggyrhatty?" (209.10), a word that is said to refer - in this chapter brimming with the names of rivers - to the river, Bhagirathi, in India.

Bhagirathi is another name for Ganga, and is so called as she was brought down to the earth by King Bhagiratha.
